Project Context
James wanted a full roofing upgrade that would bring alignment, reliability, and a refined look to his home. The scope included removal and responsible disposal of the existing asphalt roof, a full roof deck inspection, and installation of a complete Malarkey Vista roofing system with synthetic underlayment, starter shingles, Vista AR shingles, and RidgeFlex hip and ridge shingles.
The roof contained several critical transition points—around the chimney, skylights, and vent penetrations—where leaks are most likely to occur. The challenge was to create a uniform, watertight surface that properly integrated these components while maintaining correct ventilation and drainage across the entire roof.
