Project Context
John sought to upgrade his North Vancouver home with a roofing system that would provide exceptional durability and a clean, modern appearance, moving beyond traditional asphalt shingles. The scope included full removal and disposal of the existing asphalt roofing, installation of PLATINUM HTSA high-temperature peel-and-stick underlayment, and a 24-gauge mechanically locked standing seam metal roof in Tex Series Burnished Slate. Comprehensive flashing upgrades were completed, including 24-gauge eave, cap, and wall flashings, re-flashing of skylights with new back pans and counterflashings, and installation of perforated ridge vent screens for proper airflow. Throughout the project, strict site safety procedures were maintained, groundsheets protected the property, and a complete cleanup with final sweep was performed.
