Project Context
Cedar roofs can offer natural character, but as they age, maintenance becomes more difficult and surrounding components can begin to suffer. In Natalie’s case, visible wear, damaged fascia, and stained soffits pointed to the need for a complete replacement approach rather than another short-term repair.
The challenge was to modernize the entire roofing system while addressing potential hidden moisture damage and making sure every component worked together. This meant rebuilding not just the visible roof surface, but also the decking, ventilation, flashing, and edge details that help prevent future deterioration.
