Project Context

Sung contacted Vantage Roofing Ltd with a clear goal: replace her existing asphalt shingle and torch-on roofing systems to protect her home from potential water ingress. The work involved removing and disposing of the old materials, installing a new Malarkey Vista Asphalt shingle system, and completing a two-ply torch-on roof replacement. Additional upgrades included re-flashing the chimney and skylights, installing all-new attic vents, premium lead plumbing flashings, goose necks, and diverters, as well as reinforcing all roof protrusions with peel-and-stick underlayment.

The opportunity was to complete the roof replacement before any winter storms could cause water damage. Timing was critical—delays could have led to costly repairs and compromised the home’s safety.

We also installed 26-gauge flashing around the perimeter for extra durability. To protect Sung’s property, we used groundsheets, a disposal bin for large debris, and performed a final sweep to ensure the area was spotless. The entire project was completed on time and within budget, backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty.
