Project Context
Delon had already worked with Vantage Roofing Ltd. on an earlier roofing project and returned because of the workmanship, professionalism, and reliability previously demonstrated. For this Vancouver re-roofing project, the scope included removal and disposal of the existing asphalt roof, installation of 30lb synthetic underlayment, Malarkey Smart Start starter shingles, Malarkey Vista AR shingles, Malarkey RidgeFlex hip and ridge shingles, new 26-gauge W metal valley flashings, skylight re-flashing, new attic vents, new lead plumbing flashings, diverters at all gable ends, and peel-and-stick reinforcement at roof protrusions.
The core challenge was to replace an aging roofing system through a large-scope project that demanded careful coordination, strong quality control, and a clean, safe jobsite throughout the process. In addition to installing a complete new roofing assembly, the work also required attention to structural support in previously unsupported areas, detailed flashing at vulnerable points, and ventilation improvements that would contribute to long-term roof performance.

Property protection was also a priority, with groundsheets used for debris control, a disposal bin placed for efficient cleanup, and a full site sweep completed at the end of the project.
