Project Context
Jack emailed Vantage Roofing Ltd for a quote to replace the aging cedar roof on his house and garage with a new asphalt shingle system. After reviewing the home, we proposed removing the cedar shakes, installing plywood and strapping to prepare the deck, and finishing with a Malarkey asphalt shingle roof. The scope also included supplying and installing a domed acrylic skylight to improve natural light and replacing all gutters and downspouts to ensure reliable drainage.
Timing was critical. Jack wanted the work completed before the fall season to avoid water ingress. The roof was large, steep, and technically complex. That meant we needed a safe setup, extra planning, and a clear weather window to execute without delays.
