The project involved a series of meticulously executed roofing and waterproofing tasks. The Vantage Roofing Ltd team was tasked with addressing a foundational leak that was causing water ingress into the living room of one of the apartments. The solution included cleaning and priming the affected area with asphalt primer and installing a robust 2 ply torch on system. The first ply involved the installation of Torchflex™ TP-180-FF-Base, followed by the Torchflex™ TP-250-Cap for the second ply. Additionally, we reinforced the tie-in of the torch to the original waterproofing on the slab.
The primary challenge of this project was the foundation leak directly affecting the living space of an apartment, necessitating an urgent and effective response. The integrity of the building and the comfort of its residents were at stake, requiring a solution that was both quick and enduring.
